Highlights of your role

  • Lead Request For Quotation (RFQ) events, evaluating potential suppliers based on price, quality, and overall value. 

  • Conduct high-risk negotiations with vendors and secure favorable terms while mitigating risk 

  • Provide strategic direction and recommendations for assigned commodities and categories 

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies and procurement processes to support long-term business needs 

  • Build and manage commodity supplier partnerships by facilitating and leading strategic supplier conversations 

  • Advise the procurement team members to drive alignment and best practices 

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field 

  • 10-15 years of experience in supply chain, leadership, project management, or a related field 

  • Expert negotiation and supplier management skills 

  • Understanding of material quality requirements, processes and procedures 

Also want to make sure you have

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office products 

  • Purchasing process and systems knowledge 

  • Professional certification (preferred)
