Job Overview

Are you passionate about driving value through strong supplier partnerships and smart sourcing decisions? Marvin is looking for an Enterprise Commodity Agent to support enterprise-wide commodity strategies that balance cost, quality, delivery, and innovation. In this role, you’ll work with cross-functional teams to support day-to-day purchasing, ensuring Marvin’s supply base delivers the best total value across our product collections.

Highlights of your role

  • Support benchmarks for enterprise commodities at the best total value regarding prices, delivery, quality, and other considerations (e.g., partnership, innovation, etc.) 
  • Work with product teams to drive best practices in day to day purchasing and strategic plans for assigned commodities 
  • Work with the commodity manager on feedback for strategic sourcing plan effectiveness, and alignment with overall business strategy  
  • Provide insight on the overall results from the supply base 
  • Enhance and develop technical knowledge of commodities and industries in which suppliers operate 

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field 
  • Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills 
  • Understanding of material quality requirements, processes and procedures 

Also want to make sure you have

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office products 
  • Purchasing process and systems knowledge
