Job Overview

The Associate Talent Acquisition Partner, partners with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and creates a strong pool of candidates for our organization’s current and future hiring needs; also, innovatively sources candidates through a variety of channels. 

Highlights of your role

  • Responsible for advertising recruitment needs for external positions sourcing potential candidates through various channels including social media.
  • Evaluate applicant qualifications by partnering with hiring managers to interview applicants, analyze applicant responses, and compare qualifications to the position requirements.
  • Improve the effectiveness of the talent acquisition processes and procedures.
  • Organize and attend career fairs and recruitment events; foster a collaborative presence when possible.
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
  • Ensure we avoid foreseeable legal challenges by understanding current legislation/regulations.
  • Ensure others (i.e. hiring managers) involved in the recruitment process (i.e. interviews) are trained to engage with candidates appropriately.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Talent Acquisition, Recruitment or similar position preferred
  • Professional certification preferred (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Strong computer skills and prior experience managing an ATS. 
  • Ability to work successfully both as an independent contributor and as a team member
  • Ability to manage information with integrity and confidentiality
