Job Overview

The individual will be responsible for frontline Supervision / Leadership. The individual must be hands-on and capable of leading, managing, and utilizing a structured approach in a team based environment. The individual must be willing and able to coach and develop both peers and subordinates as required to increase overall line, group, and plant effectiveness, to exceed customer expectations, while maintaining a cost competitive position.

Highlights of your role

  • Daily management of line activities (Quality, Production, Safety, Employee Certification/Rotation, Communication).
  • Planning production and labor requirements to ensure customer delivery in most cost effective manner.
  • Utilize daily/weekly metrics to define/prioritize continuous improvement action for your area.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage others in a production environment.
  • 5 plus years in supervision / leadership preferred.
  • High energy, positive attitude, excellent communication and people skills.
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross functional groups.
  • Direct experience in material control systems, process standardization, visual management systems
  • Understanding of Excel, data collection, and problem solving skills.
  • Associates or Bachelors degree a plus; not required.
