Marvin Roanoke is looking for a Learning & Development Supervisor to join us. The Learning & Development (L&D) Supervisor plays a pivotal role in supporting the execution of learning strategies and initiatives at their local site. This
role assists in the coordination, development, and delivery of training programs that enhance employee capabilities and align with organizational goals. The L&D Supervisor partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of learning solutions and provides day-to-day guidance to direct reports within the local L&D team.
• Assist in the planning and execution of learning programs that support
business objectives and employee development.
• Support the implementation of training strategies aligned with the L&D Value
Stream and organizational priorities.
• Supervise and coach L&D team members, fostering a collaborative and highperformance culture.
• Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, materials
preparation, and facilitator support.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other
stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate, engaging, and effective.
• Monitor and report on training effectiveness, participation, and outcomes.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of learning processes, tools, and
systems.
• Support change management and communication efforts related to learning
initiatives.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with relevant standards and
policies.
• Experience in learning and development, training coordination, or related
field.
• Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience supervising or mentoring team members.
• Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and training
technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and adapt to changing
priorities.
