Job Overview

The Project Manager will lead and direct a cross-functional team responsible for Executive/Leadership Level new product development (PPT) and product improvement (IPT) from concept to release.  The project team responsibilities include product design, process design, capital equipment design and procurement, marketing planning, material procurement and financial viability. Continuous efforts to ensure our teams meet and exceed our safety, quality and customer experience goals.

Highlights of your role

  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT - Develop and manage the project scope, budget and master schedule. Facilitate Core Team, Leadership Review and ERP Review meetings. Manage ownership of project tasks and identify the appropriate resource ownership per stage-gate task and deliverable check lists.
  • FORWARD THINKING - Improve project efficiency and reduce costs while meeting and exceeding company business goals.
  • COMMUNICATION - Strong, thorough and proactive communication skills are an expectation along with the responsibility for creating a team environment to ensure we are stronger together. Communication of project(s) status and deliverables to key stakeholders at Leadership Reviews and Executives at Gate/ERP Reviews. Excellent presentation skills, including proficient “storytelling” of the project and product.
  • LEADERSHIP - Coach and direct team members to ensure project success through the stage-gate process.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college/university in Engineering or a related field preferred or an equivalent combination of training or experience.
  • Computer skills to perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of manufacturing software (ICIM/ARDIS/OMS) and working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Visio and Access), Smart Sheet and Marvin Doc's experience is helpful.
  • A minimum 2-4 years of project management or equivalent combination of training and/or experience is required
  • Able to manage multiple mid-level PPT/IPT projects or 1-2 large PPT/Business Partner projects at same time
  • Ability to travel to other facilities as needed
