The Production Supervisor provides leadership and direction for their assigned department, ensuring operational excellence through safety, quality, and productivity. They are accountable for building high-performing teams by hiring, developing, and motivating employees while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Thursday
*This position will train DAYS Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm for an extended amount of time before transitioning into an evening shift.
Hire, train, and develop team members to build a strong talent pipeline.
Mentor Assistant Supervisors and prepare them for roles of increased responsibility.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and administer corrective actions fairly and consistently.
Foster a positive, inclusive culture that promotes engagement and reduces turnover.
Address employee concerns promptly and maintain open communication.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor daily operations to achieve production, quality, and safety goals.
Oversee cross-training and line balancing to optimize workforce flexibility.
Lead problem-solving efforts for escalated issues and remove barriers to success.
Drive strategic planning and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Investigate quality concerns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate across departments to align resources and achieve company objectives.
