Job Overview

You’ll lead Marvin’s Voice of the Customer (VOC) program—collecting customer feedback, analyzing it, and turning it into insights that help improve the business. You’ll manage everything from surveys and data tools to sharing findings with leadership and helping teams act on them. Your work will help Marvin become even more customer-focused.

You’ll collaborate with teams across the company—Sales, Service, Marketing, Logistics, Operations, and more—to make sure the insights you deliver are useful, repeatable, and drive real change.

Highlights of your role

Program Leadership

  • Own the VOC program and make sure it runs smoothly and improves over time.
  • Plan and manage surveys, dashboards, reports, and stakeholder communications.
  • Lead improvements in tools, processes, and how teams work together.
  • Build a roadmap for future upgrades and new ways to listen to customers.
  • Handle budgets, timelines, and project communications.

Working Across the Company

  • Build strong relationships and trust with internal teams.
  • Explain and defend your methods and insights clearly.
  • Advocate for the customer and help build a customer-first culture.
  • Work with teams to make sure insights are practical and actionable.
  • Eventually grow and lead a team to expand VOC efforts.

Survey Management

  • Run regular customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Communicate survey plans internally and externally.
  • Handle everything from survey design to data collection and tech integration.
  • Analyze results and share findings through reports and presentations.

Creating Deliverables

  • Turn data into stories—dashboards, reports, videos, and more.
  • Combine different types of data (customer, financial, operational) to find patterns.
  • Create tools like customer personas, journey maps, and service blueprints.
  • Continuously improve deliverables based on feedback and needs.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Are a strong leader who can manage analysts and researchers.
  • Can work independently or as part of a team.
  • Are proactive, detail-oriented, and a great communicator.
  • Know how to find patterns in customer data and turn them into useful insights.
  • Can present findings clearly to different audiences.
  • Are comfortable with change and enjoy experimenting to improve things.
  • Can wear many hats—CX, research, strategy, communication, project management, and design.

Also want to make sure you have

  • 3+ years building and running VOC programs.
  • 5+ years leading insights projects and working with stakeholders.
  • 7+ years in analytics, research, or insights roles.
  • A degree in marketing, business, research, design, or a related field.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Experience with customer, financial, and operational metrics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Passion for meaningful work and helping a 100+ year-old company grow.

Bonus Points

  • Consulting or program management experience.
  • Familiarity with BI tools like Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI.
