We are seeking a quality-oriented innovative Email Developer to help us reach our goal of creating premier customer communication experience. This role will work within our digital department on the digital communications team as they help build and develop all communications coming from Marvin. 

Highlights of your role

  • Utilize HTML/CSS, responsive design, and email marketing best practices to create and code interactive experiences for email and sms 
  • Develop/modify email templates, journeys, and existing campaigns. 
  • Ability to integrate and manipulate data from third-party APIs to create dynamic, personalized email experiences. 
  • Apply the best practices in email development, email compliance regulations, and accessibility. 
  • Set up, test, and launch complex email campaigns and journeys with dynamic content, and SMS messaging. 
  • Execute email campaigns with a heavy emphasis on customer segmentation, testing protocol, and technical execution. 
  • Perform QA. 
  • Ensure identical rendering across browsers, ESPs, and devices. 
  • Troubleshoot HTML, CSS, and other performance issues. 

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Relevant email development work experience 
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of HTML/CSS and [coding language] 
  • Proficient in responsive email design and front-end development. 
  • Experience with Figma, (or similar tool), email on acid, Google analytics, Jira, Salesforce). 
  • Experience with Communication automation systems (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, Hot Jar, et.) 
  • Working knowledge of SQL is a large plus 
  • Knowledgeable of email compliance regulations. 
  • Familiarity with email marketing and marketing automation technology.
