Job Overview

Are you ready to take on a hands-on role that keeps our operations running smoothly and safely? As a Boiler Operator at Marvin, you’ll be part of a collaborative team responsible for maintaining and operating wood-fed and natural gas boilers. You’ll troubleshoot mechanical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and contribute to critical infrastructure that powers our facilities.

Highlights of your role

· Monitor and operate boiler systems, perform daily/hourly checks, and ensure compliance with state regulations

· Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, execute preventative maintenance, and manage boiler chemical additives

· Lead boiler shutdowns, startups, and annual tear-downs, including operating heavy equipment as needed

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

· A State of Minnesota 1st Class C Boilers License or higher

· A high school diploma or GED

· Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read schematics and equipment manuals

· ARC flash training and a solid understanding of ARC flash procedures

Also want to make sure you have

· Experience troubleshooting boiler systems and related equipment

· The ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally

$23.50 - $31.00 per hour
