The Architectural Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of Department 730. This role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality service delivery, team development, and operational efficiency. The supervisor will oversee departmental activities, coach and mentor team members, and drive performance aligned with Marvin’s standards and goals. Full-time, salaried position.
· Provide leadership and supervision for the Architectural department, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
· Conduct regular performance reviews and support professional development of team members.
· Monitor and manage departmental labor, time, and attendance to ensure operational efficiency.
· Evaluate incoming customer requests and assign workload based on staff skill levels and departmental goals.
· Administer and track department performance metrics, including order throughput and OMS assistance requests.
· Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, efficiency gains, and reduction of COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality).
· Manage non-warranty service instances and ensure resolution aligns with company standards.
· Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment that supports team cohesion and motivation.
· In-depth knowledge of Marvin brand products, pricing, processes, and support tools.
· Strong understanding of Marvin’s customer base and service expectations.
· Ability to collaborate effectively across departments to ensure seamless customer service.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including documentation and reporting.
· Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
· Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
· Background in construction or architectural services is highly desirable.
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
· Minimum of 8 years of industry-related experience, preferably in architectural services or customer support.
