The Distribution Trainer performs various loading dock and shipping tasks in a safe manner while in compliance with all PPE requirements. Each task is to be completed with results that exceed customer expectations and maintain balanced loading teams that meets truck loading guidelines and delivery schedules in coordination with the Scheduling and Logistics Teams. Assist Leadership by training PIV operators and loaders on current and new processes ensuring that all quality standards and operating procedures are being followed.
· Training – Train new employees on standard operating procedures.
· Cross-training – Conduct on-going training in new areas for all employees while improving rotation efforts with truck leads.
· Productivity – Work in assigned areas to ensure all loading teams meet daily loading goals.
· People – Motivate and encourage fellow employees to remain productive by workload balancing and learning new jobs.

· Quality – Train team members to quality expectations and work with quality personnel to ensure loading guidelines are followed.
· Flexibility – Be responsive towards learning new processes, programs, and equipment operation and help with implementation of those in the department.

· Team Attitude/Dependability – Be role model and lead Work Cells.
· Safety – Encourage safe practices and ergonomics in the department.
· Housekeeping – Encourage cleanliness and organization of workstations. Help facilitate cleanliness of warehouse aisles and dock doors.
· Communication – Effectively communicate expectations to employees and communicate challenges or positives to leadership that arise throughout the shift.
· Miscellaneous – Be prepared to jump in loading trucks, leading teams, and administrative tasks as needed.
· High School diploma or GED required.
· Ability to learn computer basics (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.)
· Develops good working relationships with others – ability to coach, train, mentor, and motivate employees.
· Must pass physical assessment tier 3 test.
· Ability to obtain/maintain a forklift certification is required.
· Disciplines received within the last 6 months may affect eligibility for this opportunity.
