Job Overview

The Accounting Compliance Program Manager will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the payroll accounting compliance activities in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations and reporting requirements.

Highlights of your role

  • Work closely with compensation, benefits, and accounting teams to ensure compliance with the implementation of new or expanded programs.
  • Identify and resolve complex payroll and accounting compliance issues.
  • Implement and monitor payroll tax payment processes and quarterly and annual payroll tax filings.
  • Manage monthly and annual payroll-related general ledger entries, including tax postings and reconciliations.
  • Provide active support during the annual external and internal audit processes
  • Develop, analyze, and communicate ad-hoc reporting in support of the Sr. Manager, Accounting compliance and accounting team

  • Strong knowledge of employment tax rules in a complex payroll accounting environment
  • Advanced analytical skills and strong Excel reporting skills
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external business partners
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Also want to make sure you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA preferred
  • 5 years of relevant experience working with payroll compliance and accounting processes, including payroll processes with a complex multi-state and organizational structure
  • Experience with an ERP system using Microsoft Dynamics 365 highly preferred
  • Prior experience with Ultipro preferred
