This position will report to the Director of Marketing and will be part of the marketing and product development organization.

Highlights of your role

The Product Manager will be tasked with immersing themselves in use of and the opportunities for the TruStile product in the market. Must use knowledge and learnings to help prioritize and guide approved product development and improvement projects through a cross functional phase-gate process. 

  • Primary ownership of facilitating and conducting product focused market research and observations to obtain information required to inform product road map and project prioritization.
  • Work with product engineering, marketing and sales to drive product innovation through new product development and current product line extensions
  • Primary sales rep and customer point of contact for new product ideas, extensions and improvements and tasked with maintaining and updating the product roadmap in conjunction with Marketing and Sales management
  • Participation in most significant product development projects and tasked with: 
  1. Product opportunity assessment and definition
  2. Product specification development and validation, including market pricing levels.
  3. Facilitating key management alignment and approval of product specification and general price levels across functions 
  • Responsible, with assigned Engineering Project Managers, for ensuring Product Development process is followed and for facilitating the development of actionable, approval-oriented presentations for Product development steering committee meetings.
  • Collaboration with marketing team members in development of product related training and tools (including sell sheets, product bulletins, training presentations, product reference manuals)

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Product Management, Product Development or Technical Product Marketing roles
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect cross functional data and process it into specific product development recommendations and solutions. 

Also want to make sure you have

  • Demonstrated proficiency working with large data sets and using Mircrosoft Excel to analyze and draw conclusions from data
  • Proven you can manage all details and processes and understand the importance of these item to be successful in this role
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of driving projects from concept to completion
  • Knowledge and experience with phase/gate product development processes is strongly preferred
  • A background in finance, product forecasting and pricing strategies is a plus
  • Strong  written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and are willing to participate in multiple roles at various levels, gives credit to others, always puts the company’s goals first
  • Obsessive nature with the need for continuous improvement.
  • The ability to act with a bias towards hands-on involvement

Compensation

$90,000 - $110,000 annually
