Develop, communicate, and lead Physical Distribution (Logistics, Shipping, and applicable Customer Service functions related to delivery) for the Marvin Door business unit located in Reno, NV.

· Manage/mentor Drivers teams Reno, NV.

· Work with Logistics Manager to meet established delivery goals.

· Develop, direct, and manage the function of physical distribution/ shipping for the business unit. In partnership with the Logistics Manager, assess and recommend shipping and transportation methods and systems maintaining least cost to provide expected customer service levels.

· Responsible for effective utilization and management of assigned assets including routes, trucks, & trailers.

· Manage the operations of all Company drivers and the preparation and maintenance of the equipment necessary to sustain the Company fleet.

· Promote company values, engagement, and manage safety relative to processes and operator ergonomics.

· Ensure that the policies and procedures related to ensuring best productivity, inventory management, and material handling and transfer systems are implemented across the business.

· Work with customers, suppliers and Logistics Manager to identify best methods and means of transporting company products or component materials through the supply chain.

· Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal DOT regulations.

· Work closely with 3rd Party Carriers on load coverage and service

· Report on service metrics on Marvin Driver and 3rd Party Carriers

· 3-5 years Distribution or Logistics experience within an industrial consumer products discipline preferred.

· 3+ years’ experience in leading people. In-house Fleet management and Driver supervision preferred.
