Job Overview

The Sales Operations Analyst role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in data analysis, a strong command of Salesforce and SQL, and a passion for helping sales teams perform at their best. You’ll play a key role in identifying sales trends, behaviors, and performance metrics, and turning those insights into actionable recommendations.

 

This position is also highly collaborative. You’ll participate in cross-functional meetings to gather requirements for sales-related projects, document key decisions, and help shape the roadmap for improvements across tools and processes.

Highlights of your role

  • Analyze logged sales calls and CRM data to identify patterns, trends, correlations, and causations.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports in Salesforce and use SQL to support business insights.
  • Present data-driven insights to Sales Leadership to inform strategy and improve team performance.
  • Monitor and improve data quality in Salesforce by identifying inconsistencies, implementing validation rules, and supporting data hygiene initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define, track, and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure sales effectiveness and operational efficiency. Participate in cross-functional meetings with product, marketing, and operations to intake and document business requirements.
  • Take clear, detailed, and organized meeting notes and ensure follow-up on action items.
  • Assist in building and maintaining sales workflows
  • Serve as a generalist across the sales operations function, supporting ad hoc requests, audits, and projects.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • 3-5 years’ experience in related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce (reporting, dashboards, data hygiene).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; especially in note taking and task tracking.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical/data requirements.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive, generalist mindset and a willingness to take on a wide range of responsibilities.

Also want to make sure you have

  • Experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with other tools like Excel, Google Sheets, BI tools, Snowflake
  • Understanding of sales methodologies and KPIs.
