Job Overview

The Guest Experience Coordinator acts as the professional face and first impression of Marvin at 7 Tide, striving to provide the best possible experience for our guests as part of the Marvin at 7 Tide team. In this role, you’ll introduce the offerings at Marvin at 7 Tide to our guests with an inspiring explanation of our services, capabilities and how our Brand Ambassadors are able to assist in their specific needs. You will play a vital role in helping to keep our facility running optimally so we can continue to create an inspiring environment with a high standard of hospitality. This also includes supporting efforts to build awareness for our space and services through on-site events, tours and other marketing initiatives.

Highlights of your role

Client Experience

  • Strive to make sure our guests have an exceptional and productive experience at Marvin at 7 Tide, embodying what it means to represent the Marvin brand and its values by offering a positive first impression and warm welcome either in-person or over the phone.
  • Serve as our main scheduling coordinator, helping to accommodate our guests or business partners by booking project appointments, tours, meetings or events. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and organizing our shared scheduling calendar to ensure things are coordinated efficiently and delegated evenly among the Brand Ambassadors.
  • Knowledge of our space’s and building’s key functions and capabilities in order to highlight and present these to our guests at a high level.
  • General understanding of Marvin’s sales and service channels in order to help refer clients to the appropriate contact if needed.

 

Marvin at 7 Tide Facility

  • Manage and maintain our on-site technology systems to ensure the function of each system is running effectively. Troubleshoot issues using internal processes or with the appropriate vendor.
  • Ensure Marvin at 7 Tide is clean, welcoming, organized and ready to receive guests.
  • Audit and maintain inventory of our finish samples and branded literature regularly to ensure all guests are able to be served with support materials for their projects.
  • Audit and maintain inventory of office supplies, guest beverages or any other general supplies needed to keep our facility and client services running at its best.
  • Assist in developing and organizing key files, processes and procedures to ensure the Marvin at 7 Tide team can easily access in order to support the function of the facility.

 

Client and Business Development

  • Support marketing initiatives to help increase awareness of our brand experience center among the company and local community.
  • Assist in preparing, planning, ordering, coordinating and staging for industry or community events or tours on site with the goal of creating an enjoyable, successful experience for attendees.  

Compensation

$20 - $30 per hour

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

Client service; hospitality; personable; positive attitude; professional; organized; communicative; critical thinking; may include physical demands of lifting up to 50lbs; technology literate: Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, Salesforce, MS Teams, Apps, Miro

Also want to make sure you have

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required: marketing, communications or business administration.
  • 1-3 years experience in business administration or operations, hospitality, retail/showroom or design experience a plus.
