Job Overview

The Loader is responsible for efficiently and safely loading trucks to meet and exceed company goals. This role requires effective communication to ensure that all shipments are complete and on time.  The role is responsible for continuously striving to improve productivity, effectiveness, quality, and safety.

 

Work Schedule:

Monday – Thursday

  • Days: 6:00 am – 4:00 pm

Highlights of your role

  • Efficiently load trucks by hand, ensuring all items are organized and secured safely. 

  • Verify that all products are accurately scanned and documented before loading onto trucks. 

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 85 lbs. consistently throughout the shift. 

  • Ability to safely use a Motorized Industrial Man Up Picker to count parts in top levels of warehouse (heights could be in excess of 15+ feet) 

  • Accurately document department data and complete all required paperwork in a timely manner. 

  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment is maintained at all times. 

  • Responsible for the maintenance and repair of shipping carts and racking as needed. 

  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and address any issues promptly. 

  • Work closely with co-workers to coordinate shipping schedules and meet deadlines. 

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process. 

Compensation

Starting at $22/hr, based on experience

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Previous forklift/industrial vehicle operation experience preferred; must be able to obtain and retain the proper forklift/industrial vehicle licenses required for the role 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 

  • Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role preferred. 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 

  • Ability to work successfully with a diverse workforce 

  • Ability to work independently and accurately 

  • Basic computer skills are required
