Job Overview

TruStile Doors is recruiting for a key position in a Cost Analyst role. This role is an analysis heavy-role that will have direct impact to the company’s performance. This role will assist in establishing and setting Manufacturing Cost Standards and product pricing strategies, investigating and analyzing manufacturing variances, evaluating operational performance and key metrics as well as offering valuable insight into process and system improvements across multiple groups in the organization. This is a highly visible role that has the potential to bring significant impact to the company. 

Highlights of your role

  • Oversees Manufacturing Cost Accounting System
  • Develop deep understanding of cost as it relates to business operations
  • Data driven analysis
  • Responsible for standard setting and costing processes with team support
  • Evaluates variances & provide meaningful insight into process improvements
  • Inventory oversight/analysis/reconciliation
  • Expanding costing structure to provide additional detail and improvements
  • Analyzing utilization of resources (equipment, personnel)
  • Month end close items 
  • Cost-Benefit analyses 
  • Developing cost-related Production reports
  • Implementing best practices
  • Other Ad-hoc analyses and duties

 

Compensation

$70,000 - $85,000 annually

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Accounting or Finance degree, CPA/CMA a plus, or equivalent years of experience in the field
  • Strong financial analysis skills, financial analysis experience a plus
  • Interest in learning manufacturing process and business model
  • Ability to prepare financial reports and give recommendations based on available data
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communication, including writing, speaking and active listening
  • Collaborative and able to work well with others cross-function
  • EPICOR experience or other ERP experience preferred
  • Strong excel skills 
  • Understanding of organizational accounting concepts, knowledge of financial guidelines and regulations a plus
  • Manufacturing experience a plus
  • Cost accounting experience a plus
  • A strong desire to learn and to teach
