Job Overview

The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of the receiving department. This role ensures the accurate and timely receipt of goods, maintains a safe and organized work environment, and drives continuous improvement in quality, productivity, and team performance. The Supervisor plays a key role in hiring, training, developing, and motivating team members to meet and exceed operational goals. 

 

Work Schedule:

Monday – Thursday

  • Days: 6:00 am – 4:00 pm

Highlights of your role

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of receiving associates to achieve departmental goals. 
  • Set clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable to high standards of productivity, quality, and safety. 
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and administer fair and consistent discipline when necessary. 
  • Oversee accurate and efficient receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards. 
  • Maintain proper staffing levels and coordinate cross-training to ensure operational flexibility and coverage. 
  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety by ensuring adherence to OSHA and company safety standards. 
  • Conduct regular safety audits and participate in incident investigations as needed. 
  • Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and service levels. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and resolve issues. 

Compensation

Starting at $65,000/Yr

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • High School diploma/GED required 
  • Required two or more years of related supervisory experience or training 
  • ICIM and Microsoft Office Suite knowledge preferred 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a forklift license
