Job Overview

The Inventory Control Auditor will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring the efficient flow of materials, and supporting production operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. The Inventory Controls Auditor will be responsible for completing assigned cycle counts across the Kansas City Location.

Highlights of your role

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials for production. 
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify accuracy. 
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records. 
  • Ability to safely use a Motorized Industrial Man Up Picker to count parts in top levels of warehouse (heights could be in excess of 15+ feet) 
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to manage inventory movements. 
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices. 
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Compensation

Starting at $21.50 per hour, based on experience

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • High School diploma/GED required 
  • Minimum of three years related experience and/or training required 
  • Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses 
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software and the Microsoft Software Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)   
  • An associate’s degree in a related technical field is strongly preferred
