Job Overview

An Integrated Communications Planner in the Creative Studio is responsible for ensuring that all of our communications are reaching the right audience at the right time across all our marketing channels. This role requires someone who always starts with the audience -- creating plans that deliver an experience across the full consumer journey. You have a knack for both making sure that all the tactics are working together to create the most impact and also inspiring teams to tell brand stories in new ways. Highlights of your role

  • Bring the storytelling of comms planning to life by collaborating with channel and executional partners to identify key goals, target audience(s), channel strategy(s) and measurement
  • Inspire stakeholders and partners to think differently about how best to engage and activate key audiences through a variety of communications channels considering cadence, sequencing and influence
  • Provide strategic recommendations through multi-channel efforts that push boundaries where the work, campaign, idea or channel demands breakthrough solutions — streamlining where applicable for greatest impact
  • Participate in ideation sessions with Partnership, PR, Owned and Paid Content teams to develop distinctive and ownable activation and extension opportunities for the brand
  • Confidently sell and present strategy to stakeholders showcasing approach, concepts or recommendations underpinned with strategic positioning to deliver business results
  • Guide Marvin Marketing toward best-in-class and evolved thinking around comms planning across paid, owned and earned efforts all in the spirit of building brand reputation

Compensation

$75,000 - $100,000 annually

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of comms planning experience in either agency-planning/strategy role or within a large-scale marketing or brand team – B2B experience preferred
  • Deep understanding of translating business objectives and audience insight(s) into creative strategy(s) and communications plans
  • Comfortability in leading formal and informal ideation sessions with cross-functional team members
  • A track record of driving brand innovation and ideas at the campaign level through media, content and experiences
  • Willingness to collaborate and grow team members through new ways of thinking and working
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skill bolstered by a proactive and positive work style
