Job Overview

The Project Manager will lead and direct a cross-functional team responsible for Leader­ship/Executive Level new product development (PPT) and or product improvement (IPT) from concept to release. The project team responsibilities include product design, process design, capital equipment design and procurement, marketing planning, material procurement and fi­nancial viability. Continuous efforts to ensure our teams meet and exceed our safety, quality and customer experience goals.

Highlights of your role

  • Develop and manage the project scope, budget and master schedule. Facilitate Core Team and Leadership Review meetings. Manage ownership of project tasks and identify the appropriate re­-source ownership per stage-gate task and deliverable check lists.
  • Improve project efficiency and reduce costs while meeting and exceeding company business goals.
  • Strong, thorough and proactive communication and messaging skills are an expectation along. Cre­ate a team environment culture to ensure we are stronger together. Communication of project deliv­erable status with key stakeholders and lead all Leadership/ERP Reviews if required.
  • Coach and direct team members to ensure project success through the stage-gate
    • Be a self-directive and time
    • Be a liaison between functional areas, while building and maintaining those functional relation- ships
    • Build and maintain both internal and external working relationships
    • Provide customer service to all facilities
    • Ensure there is a balance between ease of Product MFG and Design

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Education/Training: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college/university in Engineering or a re­lated field preferred or an equivalent combination of training or experience.
  • Computer skills to perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of manufacturing software (ICIM/ARDIS/OMS) and working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Visio and Access), Smart Sheet and Marvin Doc's experience is helpful.
  • Experience in Leading and Managing projects
  • Ability to manage multiple mid-level PPT/IPT projects
  • Ability to travel to other facilities as needed
