We are currently seeking a full-time Service Specialist to join our team at the Marvin Home Center. The Marvin Home Center is located in Warroad, MN and offers building materials and home improvement supplies; including various brands of appliances. We provide warranty and repair work for most major appliances.

• Delivery and installation of appliances for customers, to include providing basic operation instructions
• Attachment of duct work, water lines and wiring connections
• Troubleshoot appliances needing repair, order parts and install when needed
• Test repaired appliances prior to leaving the customer's home to ensure repairs are satisfactory
• Maintain record keeping on service calls/repairs
• Prepare and submit for credit invoices required by the vendor/manufacturer for warranty repairs

• Can provide excellent service to every customer through honesty, trust and helpfulness
• Have a professional attitude and courtesy engaging customers, vendors and fellow associates
• Can listen to the customer and provide helpful solutions or recommendations to their questions
• Possess the ability to be empathetic to customer's concerns regarding breakdown of appliances
• Are experienced with the use of hand and power tools and testing equipment in diagnosing repairs
• Can provide quality workmanship by leaving the appliances clean and the area you are working in clean

• Class C Driver's license with a good record and a health card
• Standing and/or walking for up to 8 hours a day
• Performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions
• Lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds
• Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and turning
• Climbing stairs and/or ladders and working in elevated areas
