Job Overview

Are you an expert machinist? Put your problem-solving skills to work at Marvin! We're looking for a Senior Machinist to join our maintenance team. In this role, you'll use equipment to machine high-quality parts used in our windows, tools, jigs, fixtures and manufacturing equipment. Highlights of your role

  • Set up and operate lathes, CNC mills, and other fabrication equipment
  • Select the proper machine(s) to use for each individual job
  • Determine the sequence of tasks required to carry out the parts machining process
  • Practice accuracy and attention to detail when making precise measurements to produce high quality parts
  • Proactively identify and solve problems with machines to keep parts production running smoothly 

Compensation

$24 - $32 per hour

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Fluency in reading prints and drawings
  • Gibbs Cam experience preferred
  • Some machine design and assembly experience a plus. 

Also want to make sure you have

  • Two-year technical Machinist degree plus three years milling experience required
  • 5+ years of CNC machine programming and operation experience
