Highlights of your role
- Verify equipment is operational and always performing within specifications, conducting preventative maintenance when needed.
- Troubleshoot and fix defective equipment, components, or wiring on HVAC/R equipment, including adding and reclaiming refrigerants.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and work required and performed in our computerized maintenance management system.
- Operate equipment to support operations needs and to better understand the processes they are expected to perform.
Compensation
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- Understanding of commercial heating and cooling systems including reading schematics, maintaining systems, troubleshooting, Bill of Materials, etc.
- Flexibility and willingness to move from one job task to another without hesitation
- Physical capability to perform job duties, including working in tight spaces and at elevated heights.
- Strong knowledge of wiring, piping, equipment controls, and diagnosing equipment issues using schematics.
Also want to make sure you have
- EPA certification for handling refrigerant.
- 2-year degree or related work experience in HVAC/R
- Ability to obtain Minnesota Special Engineer License for boiler operation and Registered Unlicensed Electrician License.
Schedule:
Day Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., and any required overtime.
