A Local/Yard Driver has the primary responsibility of relocating and transporting trailers on facility properties as well as transporting products and providing local pick up and delivery duties.  When not required to perform yard jockey or local driver duties this person will perform all duties of the loading dock associates.

• Relocate and transport trailers on facility property as required to stage trailers for loading and unloading to meet required receiving, production and shipping goals.
• Transport product locally between plants and local vendors.
• Transport product locally between plant and local customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Check truck equipment and supplies to ensure road worthiness.
• Maintains all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Marvin regulations.
• Maintain responsibility for proper documentation of department data.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment.

Enjoy a comfortable schedule:

• Monday-Thursday; 5:30 am - 3:30 pm; occasional overtime as needed:  Pay $26 per hour: $2500 sign-on bonus

• Valid Class A driver's license (CDL).  Minimum one-year CDL driving experience required.
• Must be a safe and courteous driver, representing Marvin in a professional manner.
• Meet all DOT requirements.
• Oral and written communication skills required.
• Must be able to work well in a team and work well independently (self-directed ability to follow directions) in a fast-paced position.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• If you have at least 1 year of Class A CDL driving experience.
• Ability to lift/carry or push/pull up to 85 lbs.
• Ability to acquire and retain forklift/industrial vehicle licenses required for this role
