A Marketing Analyst on the brand strategy team is responsible for collaborating with multiple teams within the marketing organization to manage disparate data sources to tell a holistic marketing performance story and bring forward insights to inform and set go-to-market strategies.

Highlights of your role

Opportunity to collaborate with strategy and analyst positions across the marketing team and cross-functional partners to develop a unique and ownable ROI model to quantify on-line and off-line marketing and brand activities that help us build best-in-class programs for our brand and our customers.

  • Analysis: use multiple data sources and/or teams to identify trends, meaningful insights, and business impacts and opportunities
  • Data-driven insights: identifying and interpreting data, creating insights and sharing actionable suggestions that inform continuous learning and optimization — the ability to translate complex data for those less-technical
  • Partner Collaboration: work closely with stakeholders to optimize process to improve data accuracy, while defining key KPIs and metrics
  • Technology Integration: full use of data tools including, but not limited to: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Salesforce, Google Ads, dashboards within Data Studio, and Power BI
  • Thought Leadership: apply industry best practices and trends to drive meaningful change within the organization
  • Reporting: create and automate marketing reports that will support business decision making and a regular cadence of communication to our business partners

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Demonstrated experience with implementing and managing marketing technology tools
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate complex data into applicable recommendations and business outcomes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to distill complex data-driven solutions to diverse stakeholders
  • Comfort working in the gray to set a new standard for how Marvin marketing is leading the business
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing data repositories
  • Proven ability to create consistent routines while managing process ambiguity
  • Knowledge of marketing operations and useful/measurable KPIs/metrics
  • Experience extracting and mining data from various sources and translating to meaningful reports and insights

Also want to make sure you have

  • 3-5 years of experience analyzing marketing data 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, analytics or related field  
  • Experience in working with technical team members (i.e. product owners and developers) to execute digital projects and campaigns.
  • Expert in gathering and analyzing data from various platforms (including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, dashboards in Data Studio and Power BI) to identify trends and opportunities, form the basis for detailed insights and smart digital recommendations.
  • Must be able to self-direct own activities utilizing effective time management and planning skills.
  • Demonstrates a curiosity for, and an ability to, rapidly learn new concepts and acquire new skills.
