Job Overview

The Regulatory Technologist I will participate in product compliance activities including developing test plans, engaging simulators and test labs, and data management including labeling for all collections. Will work on long-term certification projects and immediate energy performance/data solutions.  Will team with others on improvement projects and corporate compliance changes.  Support schedules, test activities, and effectively communicate project status among peers.

Highlights of your role

  • Support the regulatory certification schedule for new and existing Marvin products. This includes certification plans, coordination with 3rd party test and simulation providers, and ICIM data management.
  • Develop understanding of required standards/codes/regulations.
  • Communicate well and work with Marvin representatives to report progress, address regulatory compliance concerns and provide problem solving expertise on new orders and service jobs.
  • Work with production/manufacturing/IT to support certification compliance documentation and required updates. Manage and verify energy data.
  • Develop and update technical documents related to compliance.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of products, components and designs, understanding how design and glass selection relates to energy performance and certification requirements.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Design related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Basic Knowledge of ICIM/ERP systems
  • Basic knowledge of product components, designs, and manufacturing processes required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Understanding of regulatory standards for windows/doors market preferred
  • 2D and 3D CAD Modeling software (AutoCAD & Inventor) knowledge helpful
  • OMS knowledge helpful
