Job Overview

The CX Quality Assurance Analyst will work closely with the QA Team Lead and QA Engineer to test and evaluate in-house and third-party applications to ensure its outputs meet, or exceed, organizational standards and requirements. The right candidate will use their skills to monitor and continuously improve the quality of our system processes and outputs within our Quoting and Ordering applications (OMS + Paradigm), customer facing applications and the transition to our manufacturing solutions. This individual will work collaboratively with our Product Engineering and Application Development teams to help provide stability and accountability to our customer facing applications.

Highlights of your role

  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure all objectives are met
  • Implement and monitor test scripts to assess, functionality, reliability, performance and quality of the application
  • Identify and remedy defects within the production process
  • Recommend, implement and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved
  • Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process
  • Investigate customer complaints and product issues
  • Identify, record, thoroughly document and track bugs using Jira
  • Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products
  • Investigate causes of non-conforming software and propose solutions
  • Track quality assurance metrics
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and strategies

Also want to make sure you have

  • Degree in quality, software, industrial or mechanical engineering preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance or similar role
  • Experience in software development life cycle, including business process and requirements documentation, analysis, design, system construction, testing, training, communication planning and deployment (concept to deployment).
  • Technical proficiency/familiarity with applicable software to support the internal customer.
