Job Overview

This internship is located in Warroad, MN. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the Custom Equipment Group (CEG) with projects and routine Engineering tasks, such as: testing and troubleshooting electrical hardware, diagnosing and resolving electrical and programmatical issues, creating and updating electrical schematics, and programming modifications utilizing a wide array of software.

Highlights of your role

You will join an Engineering team, comprised of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and Technicians, to help support initiatives within CEG. You will gain an understanding of traditional Electrical Engineering activities necessary to support production, while also being given responsibility to perform tasks that will help you build your own Engineering skillset. Our team’s success is crucial to the growth and continuous improvement of the Warroad location.

  • Strong communication skills
  • Eagerness to ask questions and talk through details you do not understand
  • Ability to apply technical skills learned in school to real-world applications
  • Willingness to learn new skills, software, and procedures as they pertain to electrical design and implementation

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm. Opportunity for OT dependent on project needs and current business environment.

You will also have:

  • Access to your own workstation, including AutoCAD Electrical software
  • Responsibility for clocking in and out each day
  • Updates, including final presentation, to Engineering leadership

Also want to make sure you have

  • Pursuing degree in Engineering, or equivalent
  • Past intern experience helpful, but not required
