Field Service Technician

You will connect with homeowners and travel to their location to install and repair Marvin doors and windows – delivering a top-notch customer experience.

• Provide post-sales support for Marvin Companies’ windows and doors, collaborating with our customers to provide outstanding experience. 
• Communicate with all customers and Marvin support staff in a professional, timely manner that will allow us to fulfill our mission of delivering an exceptional customer experience. 
• Efficient time management, route planning and service job scheduling that meets our stated service goals and the needs of our targeted customer. 
• Clear, concise jobsite documentation that provides insight to the inside support staff to facilitate timely closure of all service requests. 
• Company vehicle and laptop or iPad provided 

• Dependable, solid work ethic and a self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to create effective weekly work schedules. 
• Excellent computer skills, communication skills, and ability to deliver a difficult message and manage customer expectations. 
• A positive can-do attitude with the ability to think creatively to resolve service issues. 
• Ability to make sound decisions that impact the company from a financial standpoint.  

• High school diploma 
• 3-5 years of construction background. Window and door product knowledge; a good background in construction and installation practices. 
• Ability to meet physical requirements of position including lifting up to 75 pounds, climbing ladders and scaffolding.
• An excellent driving record, a valid driver's license, and ability to meet the Federal Department of Transportation medical certification requirements (Physical) and driver eligibility.
