EHS Specialist

This person will be responsible for supporting the EHS team and Marvin Grafton facility with recordkeeping, training, and tasks related to safety compliance.

• Maintain various records for compliance purposes (training, safety programs, workplace injury data, etc.).
• Create, release, and follow up on training topics related to Safety Compliance, Worker’s Compensation, and other topics as needed.
• Manage and maintain the EHS SharePoint portal, including Safety Programs and Policies.
• Maintain and update EHS Metrics (TCIR, DSLR, etc.)
• Facilitate Accident Reviews and other Safety related meetings/events.
• Assist the organization and success of OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) audits.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Strong and comprehensive computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
• Organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-Starter and makes good use of time.
• Positive attitude.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all settings.

Schedule:

7:30am – 4:00pm, or 8:00am – 4:30pm.  Overtime as needed.

• Prior involvement in safety-related committees or teams preferred.
