Door Installer

An Installer at Marvin will be able to effectively and confidently recommend the correct product options and construction techniques with dealers and contractors that will provide the best chance for successful installations and product performance prior to installation of the product. Proven demonstrated ability and knowledge of construction methods and installation techniques that will result in defect free scenic door installations. 

• Install all types of Scenic Doors and other Marvin Products are as requested. 

• Demonstrated ability and knowledge of construction methods and installation techniques that will result in defect free gorgeous door installations. 

• Be able to effectively and confidently recommend the correct product options and construction techniques with dealers and contractors that will provide the best chance for successful installations and product performance prior to installation of the product. 

• Ability to travel on a weekly basis anywhere in the country to install product. 

• Effectively communicate other functional areas (factory personnel, R&D, Management and other Field Service Technicians) provide concrete meaningful information for product improvements and scheduling changes. 

• Develop a good working relationship with contractors and home owners when on site that leaves a positive impression of the Marvin product and companies. 

• Accurately handle truck stock to assist in job completion. 

• Ability to review project specification documents and assess test protocols, installation details and design, and material compatibility. 

• Proven track record of properly documenting all jobsite observations and activities (written, photo, verbal) in a manner consistent with corporate guidelines 

• Confirmed solid understanding of building construction and building codes. 

• Excellent product knowledge of Scenic doors and Modern Product lines 

• Expert in product installation and construction techniques. 

• The ability to address and resolve complicated installation issue with minimal direction. 

• Ability to manage highly critical information and maintain confidentiality.  

• 5 or more years of proven experience working as a contractor or doing door and window installations.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements of position including lifting up to 100 pounds, climbing ladders and scaffolding. 
• Must meet the Federal Department of Transportation medical certification requirements (Physical) and driver eligibility. 
• Must have a valid driver’s license, be able to acquire a medical card, and keep driver's logbook.
