Product Support Representative

The main function Technical Support is to provide technical information for our internal and external customers.  The group takes a variety of questions from mostly Dealers, Distributors and internal staff but can also include Architects, Engineers, Contractors and Homeowners.  They provide structural and special calculations along with special request support for technical information, limitations and the capabilities for the Marvin and Integrity product lines.  This group also works with many other departments such as Inside Sales, Architectural, Signature Products, R&D, Engineering and/or Purchasing.

• Provide responses to our customers’ requests for technical information, limitations, and the capabilities of our product.
• Manage incoming inquiries by using available material resources and/or consult with product experts to advance the resolution of our customers’ questions in a timely manner.
• Provide product pricing, estimating, structural analysis, AutoCAD working drawings and any other special calculations as needed.
• Cross-functional teamwork with product options and production abilities.
• Assist with the support and development of our channel partners and trade professionals.
• Support departmental goal initiatives to achieve critical measurements.

• Related college degree or 2-4 years industry related experience
• Understanding of drafting concepts and knowledge of the construction industry
• Strong PC skills utilizing AutoCAD and MS Office applications
• Technical aptitude to quickly learn Marvin products, systems, and processes
