Job Overview

Marvin is looking for a Manager, CRM Data Analytics to join the new Digital Product & Engineering team. This role is a key position responsible for extracting operational insights and leveraging data to help drive strategic business decisions and optimizations across CRM touchpoints. This role will also be responsible for building a comprehensive data strategy and roadmap for data connections through the Digital technology stack. This is an exciting opportunity for a data professional looking to lead the operational data analytics lifecycle across all digital areas of Marvin.   

Highlights of your role

  • Responsible for managing the overall operational data reporting needs and best practices for the business and providing actionable insights to promote continuous learning and optimization across all Marvin customer digital touchpoints.
  • Builds the process around initiating, collecting, analyzing, and translating data needed for reporting out defined performance indicators.    
  • Builds reporting strategy and process for gathering business requirements for metrics from internal business partners.
  • Educate business partners and ensure alignment on KPIs and digital metrics; Strong ability to describe and present data to non-technical audiences, including trends and insights.
  • Build requirements for data and reporting solutions in the Salesforce ecosystem with CRM Analytics/Einstein Analytics/Tableau CRM and standard Salesforce reports.  
  • Develop an understanding of the company’s end-to-end sales process and customer journey. 
  • Work with a development team to define and build datasets that are optimized for specific metrics and insights.  
  • Work with stakeholders across several business units to define reporting and analytics requirements.  
  • Ensure related metrics across business units are aligned with strategic priorities. 
  • Analyze, monitor, and identify trends in key performance metrics. 
  • Identify gaps in metrics that may lead to actionable insights. 
  • Communicate and present insights to colleagues and stakeholders. 
  • Craft visually appealing dashboards that convey data and metrics in an easily digestible format.  
  • Build complex data applications composed of multiple related dashboards. 
  • Facilitates and manages cross-collaboration with different Marvin business units and departments
  • Collaborates with Digital Insights team, Business Intelligence team, and IT to align Digital Product platforms with enterprise-wide best practices resulting in consistency of data and information through the data lifecycle.
  • Manage a high-performing data engineering team
  • Challenge the status quo when necessary and influence innovation, enhancements, and capabilities that will position Marvin as a market leader.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, analytics, business, or another related field
  • 5+ years experience in digital analytics and insights
  • 5+years experience with strong proficiency Tableau CRM, CRM Analytics, Salesforce CRM data visualization
  • 5+years experience in Salesforce eco-system
  • Experience working alongside Digital and Behavioral insights teams.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with effective communication skills to present findings to non-technical audiences
  • Experience with BI Tools (e.g., Qlik, PowerBI)
  • Experience with Snowflake
