Job Overview

The Learning Experience Associate Project Manager will lead the management and execution of all projects from intake through completion for the Learning Experience team. The role will be responsible for developing detailed and flexible project plans and partnering closely with all relevant stakeholders – marketing, sales, product management, customer services, etc. – to drive progress towards business objectives and deliver projects on-time and within budget and scope.

Highlights of your role

  • Leads and drive end-to-end project management for multiple, concurrent training initiatives for the Learning Experience Team.
  • Assist in the development of project scopes, plans, goals, and deliverables of learning and training projects that support business goals in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and align on detailed project plans with key stakeholders to accurately determine the project completion date and project success metrics.
  • Schedule and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables using project management software.
  • Plan project resources accordingly and provide input on workload to Manager, to help ensure healthy capacity and capability across the team.
  • Follows direction of Manager to prioritize projects based on critical business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis and effectively communicate project expectations in a timely and clear manner.
  • Suggest opportunities for communication and change management based on learnings from assigned projects.
  • Develop and deliver regular project status reports and updates.
  • Conduct project postmortem and create a recommendations report to identify opportunities to improve processes or create efficiencies in future projects.
  • Execute defined principles and processes of project management to ensure engagement and compliance to project management process.
  • Follow and suggest best practices and tools for project execution and management.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Expert in using project management software like Smartsheet, Asana, etc. to manage projects across a large team.
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and eLearning development software (Articulate).
  • Must have excellent organization skills and a high attention to detail.
  • Recognize and solve problems quickly and escalate as appropriate and work successfully under pressure.
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently toward aggressive goals in a complex environment with multiple and changing demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to engage and motivate team members without direct authority; ability to influence decision makers and key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented performer.
  • Proven ability to prioritize work, think critically, make good decisions, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of results through metrics and KPIs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products

Also want to make sure you have

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3+ years project management experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of learning and development processes and methodologies preferred
