Highlights of your role

  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with Marvin leaders and peers at multiple locations to develop a full understanding of the business, culture, and values that make Marvin a best-in-class manufacturer.
  • Responsible to ensure efforts around employee recruitment, retention and engagement are tracked and analyzed, and that data is used to inform and create a positive employee experience where people can grow and thrive.
  • Partner with Total Rewards to administer Marvin benefits and compensation programs, including record keeping per company standards. Facilitate other enterprise-wide programs at your facility.
  • Partner with Legal for policy creation, implementation, enforcement of policies, and questions regarding policies through the Values in Actions program - in addition to staying up-to-date on state and federal legal requirements.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the HR team, along with guidance to plant managers.

Also want to make sure you have

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, Management or similar from a four-year college/university is required
  • 5+ years of experience in a HR leadership role is required
  • Professional certification is strongly preferred (i.e. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)
  • Must possess an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and have experience with various common HR systems (i.e. ADP, UKG)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are required
