Project Builder

In this role, the Project Builder plays a critical part in bringing the Marvin brand to life. This person supports a wide variety of projects and executes a multitude of tasks to provide successful end-to-end product experiences, including the construction/fabrication of product displays for events and showroom installations. They also support the upkeep, preparation, and packing of traveling displays, and when needed travel to show sites for set up and dismantling of exhibits. The Project Builder will be part of a dynamic team that works both collaboratively and independently and committed to professionalism and Marvin’s core values.

• Constructing minor projects with minimal supervision.
• Determine correct breakdown (cam locations / hanging brackets) for transporting, assembly and disassembly of project.
• Demonstrated capability to operate the equipment needed (saws, planers, routers, hand tools) plus have an excellent “quality built” until end of project.
• Must be able to maintain & keep accurate records of materials used and labor hours required for each project.
• Be able to determine correct building materials needed to give project needed strength to be assembled safely and to stand safely.

• Effectively communicate with and assist project designer / drafter.
• Demonstrate excellent construction problem solving skills
• Be able to turn a concept idea into a presentable display item.

• 2 years or more of increasing performance as a Project Builder.
• Ability to travel to Display shows for set-up and teardown of Booth.
