Job Overview

Marvin's Talent & Leadership Development team is growing! We're hiring a Leadership Development Coach to support our rapidly growing, purpose-driven organization. The ideal candidate will have a blend of experience and education in facilitating development programs and coaching leaders, either in-house or as a consultant.

 

Highlights of your role

  • Partner with HR and business leaders to ensure alignment with respect to Marvin’s talent strategy 
  • Coach multiple levels within the organization ranging from senior to high-potential employees and front-line management/supervisors in 1-1 and group coaching. 
  • Conduct 360s/personality/strength assessments and debriefs 
  • Establish trusted relationships within various functions 
  • Support the effective onboarding and performance of new managers and people leaders, ensuring an understanding of Marvin’s values and purpose 
  • Assist in identifying learning needs for managers, leaders, and teams and propose appropriate learning solutions 
  • Provide expertise, feedback, and facilitation for leadership development programs 
  • Partner effectively with external vendors as needed to deliver leadership coaching 
  • Utilize data and measurable insights to create and deliver reports, feedback, and themes to HR, business leaders, and key partners 
  • Use Marvin technology and platforms to support coaching projects
  • Participate in Marvin training and professional development opportunities

  • A trust-builder who can effectively listen, influence thinking, form relationships and collaborate with key partners 
  • Possess strong leadership coaching knowledge and skills (i.e., in house, consulting/freelance, certifications, degrees, conferences, reading, etc.) 
  • Ability to handle confidential and personal information with discretion 
  • Continuous learning mentality and willingness to acquire new tool certifications and skill sets 
  • Ability to facilitate multiple programs and coach several leaders at various levels
  • Work in a variety of settings/modalities, including virtually, 1:1 or group settings 

Also want to make sure you have

  • 5 + years of professional coaching experience 

  • Familiarity with 360-degree assessments and other inventories (e.g., personality, values, motives, etc.)  

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, or similar field 

Preferred Certifications 

  • Hogan Assessment 

  • DISC Assessment 

  • Blanchard SLII 

  • ICF Certification
